The Ponderosa Pine loop is in need of additional tread maintenance to help reduce erosion issues that are affecting the tread itself, as well as the integrity of the Upper Dry Creek Watershed.
All tools and instruction will be provided. Volunteers should expect to hike anywhere from 1-4 miles and use hand tools on uneven surfaces to complete manual labor. Please bring water and snacks if you desire them. This project is suitable for everyone ages 12 and up – we do ask that minors be accompanied by an adult.
As much as we love hosting your dog, we do ask that you please leave your pooch at home.
Plan to meet at Harrison Hollow Trailhead. We will carpool to the trailhead from there.
