Trail is mostly dry but has a few snow patches here and there. Ride or walk though any snow patches — don't widen the trail by going around them.
Hulls Gulch is one of the true classics of Boise. It’s got a nice steady grade, some fun little technical challenges (including one pretty imposing rock feature), and a babbling little creek nearby. Its only real shortcoming is its popularity–with lots of traffic and blind corners, downhill bikers shouldn’t expect to let it rip. Hikers, joggers, bikers…everyone loves this trail. It’s also got a sandy composition and drains really well, so it’s useable when many other trails are too wet.

- April 19, 2022 at 3:02 pmSome ass bag has purposefully moved a couple of large rocks and placed multiple large branches over the trail. Most of it from the rock down and very obvious what the intention was on this beautiful odd numbered day…🖕…be careful out there.

Just road today March 8th. Mostly dry with a few small mud puddles to ride through.
Mostly dry on March 5th, only a handful of small puddles. Not much evidence of human-caused trail damage, but rutting from water runoff is very bad in some spots
Lots of ice on the upper 2/3.
Yesterday (12/19) Lower Hulls had firm enough dirt, but long stretches of ice still.
Pretty much all ice from top until Jump line. Rideable though.
Puddles in the usual spots, but riding nice!
Conditions are good!
Hulls, Moto, Bob’s 1st half, road, redcillfs. 30-40% soft but not taking damage. Avoidable puddles. Earlier riders rutted some areas.
Some soft shoulders easy to avoid and puddles that are easily ridden through. Based on how soft Hulls is right now, I assume much of the other stuff is still muddy.
How is Hulls today anyone know?
Great condition as of March 7. Hero dirt is right. May be a little wetter today (3/9) due to rainy conditions. Probably better to stay off of it today.
I rode lower Hulls today and it was ok for riding. There is a detour on Red Fox which reroute s you over the Chickadee Ridge, this area was somewhat muddy. I would avoid and take road up to Lower Hulls which was fine, just a couple very small muddy areas to ride through.
Packed snow for the most part but a fair share of ice too, some spots softening up and will be muddy by afternoon.
not much snow to deal with on Hulls. Just a few patches.
No mud early this morning, just wet sand and some snow up higher.
Best choice for today – hero sand.
Still a few puddles but you can ride through them.
As an out and back was suprisingly good. Puddles in the same suspect spots as always. CB Park via owls/redfox hulls out and back was great.
Surprising amount of moisture on the trail, interspersed with long good stretches. If we ride through the muddy sections we can keep it from widening even more…
Trail was in very good shape yesterday (1/14/18). With no moisture last night and another dry day today the conditions will only improve. Watch for the really shaded sections though as they aren’t thawing and therefore can get slippy. Get some before the rain hits this week.
