Trail is riding well right now and there are no reports of mud, deadfall, or snow.

Elk Meadows dumps you out on this trail, the Packing Trail.  Packing Trail is a steep-ish access road that zig-zags up to the top of the mountain, where you can catch the Tempest singletrack to begin your descent down to the lodge.
