Please don’t ride muddy trails. This makes a LOT more work for folks who would rather be building new trails, than fixing your ruts.

Also known as “the Freeway,” Crestline is a central artery of the lower foothills trails. Its gentle grade and wide tread attract runners and beginner cyclists. It’s a nice connection, but basically boring. Crestline is often looped with Hulls Gulch or with Sidewinder and Freestone Ridge.

  • ch1012 December 2, 2021 at 4:45 pmCrestline past Sidewinder going north is wet and muddy in spots, especially in the shady areas. Turned around because of the wet.
  • lb25 February 2, 2021 at 1:58 pm5pm yesterday, 1st half was good, but once you start descending towards lower hulls, it gets pretty soft. Not quite rutty, but definitely soft.
  • AllezXC January 31, 2020 at 10:06 am7pm yesterday, first half (starting at Red Cliffs junction) mostly clear. Flat part from Sidewinder to Hulls has lots of puddles but trail was just firm enough to not leave tracks. A couple snowy/icy spots just before Hulls

    Hillside section of Crestline past Sidewinder and before Hulls was wet, snowy, icy and muddy as of 3/7.

    Crestline from Lower Hulls to around the bend across from Sidewinder is still snowy and muddy with plenty of standing water as of 5 pm 3/7/18.

    About 4″ of snow by 8am. packed down a little bit by some bike and foot traffic.

    A few puddles between Sidewinder and Lower Hulls, but they are all small enough they don’t span the whole trail.

    A thin layer of snow on the lowest part of the ridge this morning. Soil was firm before lunch but has likely softened up quite a bit this afternoon.
