Other than three short muddy spots on Bitterbrush near the Lookout Loop junction everything is nice and dry after Sunday’s snow.
  • kvd5801 March 6, 2018 at 10:53 amJust ran Currant Creek W, Currant Creek E, Currant Creek extension to Chukar Butte to Frog Ponds and back to Cartwright Rd then Bitterbrush to Lookout Loop and back down to Currant Creek. Hard and frozen with start before 8 AM but N facing stuff melting and starting to turn to mud before 10 AM. Stay off of the N facing stuff if you are not out early tomorrow, it's too late today.
  • kvd5801 February 26, 2018 at 11:14 amJust ran Currant Creek West and Red Tail from Current Creek Junction up to the top, generally packed snow but some spots will become muddy if it warms up much or the sun comes out in which case it would be best to stay off. 4-6" drifts up at the top of Red Tail.
  • kvd5801 February 1, 2018 at 7:21 pmRan Currant Creek (West & East) the morning of 2/1/18, no problems due to low temps overnight but it would have been too muddy in several spots for the afternoon
