Scott’s trail is a fairly steep trail that serves as a useful extension of a Corrals loop, or a useful passage to the upper foothills. It has nice views, very little traffic, and one evil gate that will stop you cold as you come around a corner at warp speed, so look out for that. Scott’s is named for a teacher at Washington Elementary in Boise who has been riding in the Boise foothills for 34 years…pretty cool!

- July 13, 2020 at 2:08 pmAlthough the surface is good, the trail is getting a lot narrower because of the growth of the adjacent grasses.
- April 4, 2020 at 1:58 pmScott’s should be avoided for until it has time to dry out, there are 4 or 5 longer spots that make it greasy and damage is occurring.
- March 17, 2020 at 1:12 pmThere might have been one small section where I was leaving shallow tracks, the rest was firm.
- January 27, 2019 at 5:26 pmMuddy, snow, ice.
- February 3, 2018 at 9:11 pmNo snow or mud
- January 26, 2018 at 2:07 pm2+ inches of snow from the intersection with Corrals and above. Probably better for hiking and running at this point, but bike tires won't do any harm at this point. Would be a great longer run higher in the foothills with just the right amount of snow!
