Trail is riding well right now and there are no reports of mud, deadfall, or snow.

Also called “the Crack,” this jump line provides a break from the Boise norm: a series of rollable tabletops and doubles, followed by a sketchy and exciting sled down a narrow sand wash. This section changes with the seasons, so the conditions are always a surprise. People often use this trail to make a loop out of Bob’s and Lower Hulls.

  • DeputyHardtail June 9, 2020 at 10:53 amDefinitely a bummer. I really hope that they come back through and rebuild.
  • luked June 9, 2020 at 9:14 amRidge to rivers hates the idea of kids having fun on their own so they ruined all the hard work and effort that went into jump lines epic features. Jump line is no exist, but always kept in our hearts.
  • l4xdog11 June 8, 2020 at 8:29 pmTrail has been ruined. It seems that someone took a backhoe and dug a hole every foot and absolutley ruined the trail. You can drop into the lower section and still ride the sand wash down to the lowers hulls gulch trail if you wanted to.
  • Gus Downey April 23, 2020 at 4:26 pmDirt is great, definitely loose though. its running awesome but the lips and landings are a little beat up.
  • DeputyHardtail September 11, 2018 at 10:23 amJust FYI: trail is still closed.
  • AllezXC June 20, 2018 at 5:17 pmMarked closed as of 6-19, though it's pretty obvious people have been ducking the rope
  • tastyz March 24, 2018 at 9:08 amTop of trail dropping in off 8th street was open 3/23. Detour at base of trail dumps you out back on 8th street and construction will not let you drop down to to lower hulls. Trail was in good condition but larger jump lips looked a little soft.

Markers for construction, but trail is still clear and in good shape.

  9. Kirk Cheney says:

Careful! The lips on the jumps have been updated and made much larger and steeper. Most of the big kickers are optional, but one isn’t. I’m all for it—there should be some advanced trails in this big trail network. Just know what to expect.

      Great, thanks for the update!
