The Ponderosa Pine Overlook trail is an old logging road now popular with hikers in summer and snowshoers in winter. It offers good shade up in the tree-covered upper Dry Creek headwaters area. It is a popular out and back to the Ponderosa Pine Overlook. A grove of Ponderosa Pine Trees that overlooks the Dry Creek drainage.
